Please enjoy your Shooting Star candle responsibly and follow these simple safety tips every time you burn it.
BEFORE EACH BURN
- βοΈ Trim the wick to ΒΌ inch before lighting.
- Keep the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Keep the candle at least 12 inches away from anything that can burn.
- Keep away from children, pets, drafts, fans, curtains and other flammable items.
- Remove any wick trimmings or debris from the wax.
WHILE BURNING
- π₯ Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Never burn while sleeping or when leaving the room.
- Never move the candle while the wax is hot or liquid.
- Keep the wax pool free of debris.
- If the flame becomes unusually large or behaves abnormally, extinguish the candle.
- Follow the recommended maximum burn time.
- Never burn the candle all the way to the bottom of the vessel.
EXTINGUISHING
- π―οΈ Use a candle snuffer when possible.
- Make sure the flame is completely extinguished before leaving the candle.
- Never use water to extinguish a candle.
- Allow the candle and vessel to cool completely before touching or moving.
π₯ IMPORTANT FIRE SAFETY
If a candle fire occurs, do not use water. If the fire is small and you can safely do so, use an appropriate fire extinguisher. If the fire is not immediately controllable, leave the area and call 911.
